Last year City Limits launched Age Justice, a reporting project about the aging of New York and the opportunities and challenges that creates.
As is true for all city services, the annual budget process is a place where spending levels and program priorities for aging services get debated and decided.
To inform seniors about the process, City Limits last week distributed to eight senior centers in four boroughs copies of a newsletter that explained some of the issues being debated this year, how the process works and how they can get involved.
