The Brooklyn district attorney’s office on Friday morning searched the offices of a Williamsburg co-op that has seen years of tension between the board and some tenants over finances.
A law enforcement source confirmed a search warrant was executed at Lindsay Park, a 14-acre development housing 2,700 apartments that was the focus of a 2013 City Limits article. The source would say only that the matter was “under investigation.”
The investigation appears to have something to do with the manner in which the board has conducted business, but no details were available. Staff at Lindsay Park referred press calls to an attorney who did not reply immediately. The city’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development declined to comment.

About time law enforcement start looking into the COOP FRAUD.
Frauds been going on since the beginning, ppl paying under the table to select few ppl secretly to get apts faster than those who been on waiting list for 5-7 yrs…. PPl that just came to this country chinese polish etc. been in this country 1-2 yrs but someone get apts. over ppl that been on waiting list for 5-7 yrs and more LOL this place has been corrupt for over 30-40 yrs, and now the DA OFFICE finally does something lol SMH.. All the DA and its assistants need to do is go door to door and ask ppl whats going on, and if further factual proof is need look into how ppl have circumvented the waiting list and got co-ops w/o even being on the waiting list for yrs .. its a joke…. if the DA was able to get a judge to sign off on a search warrant means they already prolly have enough to start indicting ppl on the board and most likely workers or a worker in HPD thats been cooking the paperwork on there end… its not rocket science, get 1-2 ppl to flip and u will see how the dominoes fall… i hope they start to lawyer up fast and see which one is smart enough to cut a deal b4 anyone else does lol lets see who says there butt first and rats out everyone else LOL … I hope the city indicts them all and throws out the management group and put in there own..
