  • ALL WEEK: Online voting is now underway for tenants at NYCHA’s Hylan Houses, who can choose between one of three funding models for their development. More here.
  • Monday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m.: The NYC Planning Commission will meet to review land use applications for 166 Kings Highway, 19 Maspeth Ave., 975 Nostrand Ave., Vernon Boulevard and 2185 Coyle St. More here.
  • Monday, Nov. 18 at 6:30 p.m.: Activists and authors Tracy Rosenthal and Leonardo Vilchis will join Parsons Housing Justice Lab director Gabriela Rendón for a discussion of their new book, “Abolish Rent: How Tenants Can End the Housing Crisis.” More here.

  • Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m.: The NYC Council’s Committee on Housing and Buildings will meet to discuss several bills, including one to establish a pilot program to legalize basement and cellar residential apartments in certain community districts. More here.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m.: The NYC Council’s committees on Aging and Consumer and Worker Protections will hold an oversight hearing on deed theft. More here.
