Upcoming Housing and Land Use-Related Events:
- Thursday, April 27 at 9:30 a.m.: The NYC Rent Guidelines Board will hold a public hearing to gather testimony from tenant and property owner groups on setting this year’s rates for rent stabilized apartments. More here.
- Thursday, April 27 at 10 a.m.: NYCHA will hold its monthly board meeting. More here.
- Thursday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m.: The NYC Council’s General Welfare committee will meet about legislation related to homeless shelters and housing vouchers. More here.
- Thursday, April 27 at 4 p.m.: State Sen. Brad Hoylman-Sigal’s office will hold a “Know Your Rights” workshop for NYCHA tenants about how to get repairs done and deal with other tenancy issues. More here.
- Tuesday, May 2 at 9:30 a.m.: The city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing. More here.

NYC Housing Lotteries Ending Soon: The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) are closing lotteries on the following subsidized buildings over the next week:
- 333 Linden Boulevard Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $104,880 – $187,330
- 42-17 48th Avenue Apartments, Queens, for households earning between $88,869 – $187,330
- 187 20th Street Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $103,475 – $156,130
- Parish House, Brooklyn for households earning between $92,572 – $187,330
- The Bronx Grove, for households earning up to $132,400
