Pierre Mercredi, 67, a mechanic, was spending all day Tuesday volunteering to drive seniors and disabled people to polling stations across the Bronx in his 25-year old white sedan. He was on his fifth trip around 10:30 am Tuesday morning. “I brought about 10 people already,” he said.
