[Updated] Vote for Dan Padernacht Fliers Hitting Mailboxes; Padernacht Says They Aren't Coming From Him

We don’t have a copy on hand, but mailers urging 33rd Senate District Democrats to vote for Dan Padernacht are arriving in mailboxes this week. But Padernacht, who essentially dropped out of the race earlier this week, says they aren’t coming from him. “Our campaign has not sent out any mailers,” Padernacht said in a brief phone interview, but wouldn’t elaborate or say who he thought might have sent them out.

80th AD Candidate Robert Giuffre on the Issues

The Norwood News and the Bronx News Network sent questionnaires to the Democratic candidates of the 80th Assembly District, which includes Morris Park, Norwood and Van Cortlandt Village. Incumbent Naomi Rivera did not respond, but her upstart challenger, 27-year-old former Obama operative Robert Giuffre, did. Below is an undedited sampling of Giuffre’s answers.
