A new group to recruit and mentor Asian-American NYPD officers celebrated its inception this month at 1 Police Plaza.
The Asian American Police Executives Council was formed this month to mentor and encourage Asian-American police officers to take on more leadership positions within the NYPD, according to a report translated from World Journal.
The only bilingual theatre in Queens celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of Spanish and Latin American culture with unique productions of plays, musicals and dance.
‘The NYPD routinely shields police officers from accountability and oversight. One way they do so is by refusing to name officers involved in troubling incidents, even when captured on video.’
