The Bushwick Project, 2019

Bushwick is at the geographic center of New York City, and at the epicenter of economic and demographic change. Ten years ago, City Limits did an in-depth report on the trends shaping Bushwick. A decade later, and with a major rezoning looming, it’s time for another look. From July 8 through August 2, City Limits’ reporting team will relocate from Harlem to Bushwick to focus on this neighborhood at this critical time.

Look below for the stories we produce—as well as our coverage of Bushwick since 2009. Want to alert us to a story, tell us something we got wrong, let our readers know what you think, send us a photo, submit an op-ed, or ask a question? Email us!
