Upcoming housing and land use-related events:
- Monday, June 1 at 1 p.m.: The City Planning Commission will hold a public review session to review multiple land use proposals. More here.
- Tuesday, June 2 at 9:30 a.m.: The city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission will meet. More here.
- Tuesday, June 2 at 10 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Committee on General Welfare will hold a hearing on the executive budget plans for the Human Resources Administration, Department of Social Services and Department of Homeless Services. More here.
- Tuesday, June 2 at 12 p.m.: The NYC Council’s Committee on Housing and Buildings will hold a hearing on the executive budget plans for the Department of Housing Preservation and Development. More here.
- Tuesday, June 2 at 2 p.m.: The NYC Council’s Committee on Public Housing will hold a hearing on the executive budget plans for NYCHA. More here.
- Wednesday, June 3 at 10 a.m.: The City Planning Commission will hold a public meeting to vote on the following land use applications: Rose Field Resurfacing, 5211 Arlington Ave., 2950 West 24th St Rezoning, Public School 15 Annex, Church of Saint Mary, Lithuanian Alliance Building, 164th Street Rezoning, 50-20 108th Street Rezoning, 63-02 Fresh Pond Road Rezoning, Saw Mill Creek Marsh Park Addition, 3 Helena Rd, and 20 Pleasant Valley Avenue Subdivision. The Commission will hold public hearings for the following projects: Atlantic Avenue Demapping, Staten Island Family Court Consolidation, 336 Meredith Avenue Fleet Maintenance Facility, Flatiron NoMad Major Concessions, St. Augustine’s Preservation and Redevelopment, 200 Kent Avenue Rezoning, 189-10 Northern Boulevard Rezoning, 47-03 108th Street Rezoning, and Queens CD 2 Walk to Park Site Selection/Acq. - Wednesday, June 3 at 6:30 p.m.: The Mamdani administration will hold a “NYCHA in Your Neighborhood” forum for public housing tenants to share their concerns with city officials at the Van Dyke Community Center in Brooklyn. Registration is required. More here.
- Thursday, June 4, 5 to 8 p.m.: The city’s Rent Guidelines Board will hold a meeting in Queens to take comment from the public as it considers whether to raise the rent this year for tenants in stabilized apartments. More here.
- Saturday, June 6, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Neighborhood Housing Services of Brooklyn will host a housing resource fair at Brooklyn College with information on buying a first home, foreclosure intervention, tenant services, property management and other issues. More here.
- Monday, June 8, 5 to 8 p.m.: The city’s Rent Guidelines Board will hold a meeting in the Bronx to take comment from the public as it considers whether to raise the rent this year for tenants in stabilized apartments. More here.

- 1975 Madison Avenue, Manhattan, for households earning between $116,400 – $238,160 (last day to apply is 6/1)
- Astoria Cove Phase 1(A), Queens, for households earning between $77,829 – $238,160 (last day to apply is 6/1)
- 584 Gates Avenue Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $114,926 – $198,510 (last day to apply is 6/2)
