I live in Tribeca, Yea, that Tribeca the affluent one. I personally know 3 homeless people that live within 3 blocks of me. They are homeless because of the inhuman treatment they receive from the Gov. 3 people! All are able to read, write, and take care of themselves. They will not go to a shelter because of stealing, violence, and the actions of the mentally ill. TALK to these people! They can easily move into an apartment as long as they have guidance and a set of rules. MONEY, let us all say it! GREED, let us all say it. The people of this country will take back all the rights we just lost and will lose in the next UnSupreme court session. It’s right in our History, Good always defeats evil. This time we need to keep our guard up at all times and agree on things. Majority Rule. House these people, ALL of them. Get rid of privatization of our schools and health care systems. Yes, SOCIALISM. Not communism. Narcissism and greed need to be put in their place and kept there. May there be order and good days for all of you.

Paperwork is crucial to moving people from the street to an apartment? Police sweeps trash the needed paperwork along with everything else!

The forced placement of homeless shelters in middle-class areas is solely designed to destabilize them. This intentional policy of neighborhood destruction is a holdover from the deBlasio administration and Adams needs to put a stop to it. NYC can’t afford to lose more of it’s middle-class.

Not one mention in this article about repealing the SRO, flophouse, and rooming house bans.

Repeal the bans, and this all starts to sort itself out.
