    Up until about 10 years ago the MTA ran the X32, an express bus route from Queens to the Bronx HS of science.

    This is an important story. It would also be good to look at the impact of the “choice” on students who live far from subways and have to rely more on busses.

      The ‘choice’ students chose the schools they are enrolled in. I’m sure they took their commute into consideration. A few kids commute from Queens to Staten Island Tech. It’s a long subway to bus trip but they do it.

    Transplants and first world residents strike again.
    There are people who will travel for just a long but they are not white and don’t live in a first world country.
