The information in this article should be shouted from the rooftops! Too many people have a one-sided and all too often misguided understanding of the complexity of homelessness, and how all too often it is being intensified and manipulated by the greed and immorality of landlords and brokers!

    Greetings,
First, thanks for the informative article. This topic is sad, shocking, shameful and though my list of condemnations merits a slew of negative remarks, I’ll refrain as they will surely fall on def ears. Instead, I’d like to focus my energy on possible solutions and options as I, personally, and sadly thousands of other true, decent New Yorkers, are currently living through these attacks on basic human right to live, among other life altering issues. Thus, and considering the high risk of continuous challenges instigated by this sensitive matter, where am I able to seek guidance to pursue a positive outcome to the topic at hand.? I’m actually a seasonal employee at a major USA airline carrier and am returning to operations mid May. I’m terrified and concerned that housing instability brought on by these unfair, heartless and inhumane actions, or lack there of, may jeopardize my beloved career in the airline industry. I’m hopeful, yet confident, to cross paths with intrinsically kind beings who posses conscious and are able to aid with the vulnerable experience.
    Humbly, Geovani Rodriguez

Cause and Symptom. I am a Why? asker. So why don’t they (the landlords and brokers) want to accept FHEPS vouchers? Let’s find out the Why first so maybe we can fix that then they will accept the vouchers.
