Upcoming housing and land use-related events:
- Tuesday, June 23 at 9 a.m.: The Landmarks Preservation Commission will meet regarding seveal properties, including whether to allow the demolition of West-Park Presbyterian Church on West 86th Street. More here.
- Tuesday, June 23 at 5 p.m.: Members of the public can testify to Mayor Zohran’s Mamdani’s Commission on Government Efficiency at a hearing on Staten Island. More here.
- Tuesday, June 23 at 6 p.m.: City Club of New York and CNU NYC will host “Cracks in the YIMBY Consensus,” a virtual discussion on housing development with Federal Reserve economist John Mondragon. More here.
- Wednesday, June 24 at 10 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Committees on General Welfare and Women and Gender Equity will hold an oversight hearing about housing insecurity among LGTBQ+ New Yorkers. More here.
- Thursday, June 25 at 10 a.m.: NYCHA will hold its monthly board meeting. More here.
- Thursday, June 25 at 12:30 p.m.: The NYC Council’s Subcommittee on Zoning and Franchises will meet regarding the following projects: Monitor Point, Dewitt Clinton Park North (801 Eleventh Ave.) and Dewitt Clinton Park North (629 West 54th St.). More here.

- Thursday, June 25 at 2 p.m.: The Department of City Planning will hold a public scoping meeting on a tower planned for Independence Plaza in Tribeca. More here.
- Tuesday, June 25 at 7 p.m.: The Rent Guidelines Board will vote on whether to raise rents this fall on tenants in rent-regulated apartments across the city. More here.
- Saturday, June 27 at 10 a.m.: The NYC Housing Partnership will host a day of panel discussions at its 2026 Pathways to Housing Expo. More here.
- Saturday, June 27 at 1 p.m.: NYCHA will host a community baby shower and resource fair for expecting families and families with kids up to two years old. More here.
