    where will they built these new low income units, i hope not in these bad neighborhoods, put them in some well off to do areas for a change,50 50, not these 30 percent affordable units, much much more is needed

    Such a comprehensive explanation of the budget’s present and future impact on homelessness in NYC. Most of us just hear the soundbites on the news and examine the issue no further. Thanks for sharing this information in such a way that we can more fully understand the challenges that must be overcome to preserve the dignity and quality of life for so many in need.

    Crazy to think that each homeless person should receive $50,000 but instead receives a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and an apple each day and a cot if they behave.

      The crazy part is that you could give each homeless person $500k cash and cut the budget in half!
