Revolution: Broadway Sings for Pride’s 8th Annual Charity Concert

On Monday, June 18, 2018 Broadway Sings for Pride will premiere their 8th anniversary benefit concert in New York City at The Cutting Room at 7:30pm! This milestone event will be filled with singing (from pop to Broadway), stories, special celebrity guests and of course, fun! With “Revolution” as the theme this year, Youtube couple Anthony Bowens and Michael Pavano will host the show, which will feature FRAN DRESCHER (The Nanny), FRANKIE GRANDE (Television: Celebrity Big Brother U.K., MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, Broadway’s Mamma Mia! & Rock of Ages), a special HAIR 50th Anniversary Reunion!, Matt Doyle (Broadway’s Spring Awakening, War Horse, The Book of Mormon), Sam Donovan (Project Runway, Project Runway All Stars, fashion designer), the cast of “Afterglow,” and cast members from Pretty Woman: The Musical, Frozen, Kinky Boots, Jersey Boys and more! The event will take place at The Cutting Room, 44 E. 32nd St.

Broadway At the Pierre Hotel: Encore

On Monday, June 11th at 8:30pm, Broadway will come together for “Encore”. A New York icon, The Pierre Hotel (2 E 61st St & Fifth Avenue) is celebrating Pride with ENCORE, a special benefit performance of its acclaimed Broadway At The Pierre series. The evening will feature many of today’s brightest Broadway stars singing beloved favorite Broadway songs. Performers who are scheduled to sing include: Hope Easterbrook (Hamilton, Original Broadway Cast), Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd, Original Broadway Cast), Sean Green Jr. (Broadway’s Hamilton), Yassmin Alers (Rent and On Your Feet Original Broadway Casts), Jelani Remy (The Lion King), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), and more!
