    NYC’s housing crisis is one of affordability, not supply. Thousands of rent stabilized units across the city are kept vacant by greedy landlords who would prefer not to make repairs to make them livable. Even if new construction is necessary, locating it on the waterfront, such a valuable shipping asset, is absolutely not necessary—build inland and save the port.
