No kidding, this is one of the dumbest pieces of opinion I’ve ever read, and I’ve heard some stupid stuff in my life, can’t believe this passed editing.

    1. Nobody lives around Broadway Junction, there are maximum 150 people living within a 5 minute walk to Broadway Junction.

    2. One mile? Are you kidding? That’s basically 30% of Brooklyn.

    3. $200+48M in investment? That’s supposed to mean anything? In gentrifying areas you have investment of $1B in a single block.

    4. This whole Nimbyism and protectionism helps no one. Why are you against there being a place where people can shop, have an active safe street, nice cafe and restaurants?

    5. This whole piece smells of greed and not something a reasonably educated New Yorker would write.
