- Monday, March 24 at 10 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Committee on Mental Health, Disabilities and Addiction will hold a preliminary budget hearing on funding for programs, including supportive housing. More here.
- Tuesday, March 25 at 9:30 a.m.: The Landmarks Preservation Commission will meet. More here.
- Tuesday, March 25 at 10 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Committee on Housing and Buildings will hold a preliminary budget hearing on funding for the Department of Housing Preservation and Development and Department of Buildings. More here.
- Tuesday, March 25 at 11 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Subcommittee on Landmarks, Public Sitings and Dispositions will meet regarding land use applications for New York City Health and Hospitals sites; West 128th-129th Street Cluster Article XI and 740 Brook Avenue. More here.

- Tuesday, March 25 at 12 p.m.: The city’s Department of Housing, Preservation and Development will hold a “Know Your Rights” workshop for tenants in market rate apartments, including an overview of Good Cause eviction protections. More here.
- Tuesday, March 25, 1 to 3 p.m.: “Living in the Shade, NYCHA Open Space: Past, Present, and Future,” an exhibit exploring the role of open space at NYCHA, will premiere at LaGuardia Community College in Queens. More here.
- Wednesday, March 26 at 9:30 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Committee on Public Housing will meet regarding resolutions calling for a study on the impact of the RAD/PACT program, and for more tenant engagement in campuses selected for conversion. More here.
- Thursday, March 27 at 11 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Subcommittee on Zoning and Franchises will meet. More here.
- Thursday, March 27 at 9:30 a.m.: The NYC Rent Guidelines Board will hold the first in a series of public meetings this spring which on potential rent adjustments for tenants in rent-stabilized apartments across the city, culminating in a final vote in June. More here.
- Friday, March 28, 4 to 6 p.m.: As part of neighborhood outreach for the Atlantic Avenue Mixed Use Plan, the city will hold a housing resource fair at St. Joseph’s Cathedral at 856 Pacific St., Brooklyn. More here.
- Saturday, March 29 at 9 a.m.: The Historic Districts Council will hold its 2025 conference, “Challenges and Opportunities for Historic Affordable Housing.” More here.
NYC Affordable Housing Lotteries Ending Soon: The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) are closing lotteries on the following subsidized buildings over the next week.
- 3641 Johnson Avenue Apartments, Bronx, for households earning between $81,429 – $218,010.
- 56 Beach Street Apartments, Staten Island, for households earning between $145,509 – $218,010
- 18 India Street Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $56,503 – $218,010
- 321 Franklin Avenue Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $90,858 – $218,010
- 1073 Tiffany Street Apartments, Bronx, for households earning between $99,052 – $161,590
- 1351 Jerome Avenue Apartments, Bronx, for households earning between $33,498 – $181,740
