Why weren’t all of those problems addressed during the last eight years? In fact, why are they there at all?

Well it seems like NYC is very out of step with the rest of the country who think 1) illegal immigrants are breaking the laws and abusing public assistance programs and 2) jobs and terrorism are more of a priority than climate change and transgender bathrooms.

As for Obamacare, I hear all this complaining by the Democrats about the Republicans repealing but what are THEY bringing to the table to make it better?? Oh I know, all they care about is impeachment, collision and Russia instead of focusing on working middle class issues.

Boo hoo: ‘Well, he’s not just going to just let New York die on the vine,’ but yeah he will. He saw the numbers. We didn’t vote for him so he will. He doesn’t care”

How is this “plight” of NYC different from the decades of abuse and malignant urban/blue/progressive treatment of the rest of America – flyover country, rural, Southern, working class – as they have increasingly sneered at areas not supporting their agenda? Playing the self-pity violin isn’t going to drum up support for a city whose only idea is to “pull the levers” to make the rest of the country dance to their tune. Work it out on your own time and your own dime. Your day at the trough is through.

Your statement makes no sense and is wrong. Red states get more money in federal spending than they pay in taxes, and blue states pay more in taxes than they receive in spending. Your kneejerk implication that this is comeuppance to liberal elites who have shown contempt for flyover country is a bunch of BS!

Even within our city the progressives look down on the white middle class neighborhoods, cops, firemen, Italian & Irish Americans and Catholics.

    Good Morning
Perhaps NY City is taking to heart a bumper sticker I saw recently: MAKE AMERICA SANE AGAIN.

I say go for it. The Orange-Haired One is out only for himself and his family joins him in that goal.

Didn’t Hollywood make a movie with an ambitious orange haired meniacal villian bent on controlling the world?
Where is commissioner Gordon when you need him!

NYS has very high taxes. Spend less. Elect a fiscally responsible governor. Make hinges. Tighten your belt. Why are NYS and NYC problems the responsibility of the federal government to solve?

Thank the U.N. and sustainable development (or Agenda 21) for the move out of the suburbs and into large cities. They planned that 30 years ago…………and you’re just now noticing? Trump is into real estate so he knows; hence his policies. The minute cities began to bulldoze public housing and shove the poor out into the surrounding suburbs, it had begun. Quick video outlining it here https://www.912communique.com/video/agenda-21-for-dummies

Correction: The list of counties with the most not-Trump votes is scraped from townhall.com, NOT from townhall.org.
