Hi I’d like someone to contact me. I’d like to tell my story as someone who was an amputee with a certified service dog. Lost my job and my home and was forced to return to Path every few days to reapply, even though they knew my child and I had no one to help us. We were forced to leave the shelter , newly amputated) and sleep in my car, in the freezing cold, because we were so embarrassed every time we were rejected. Didn’t understand their reasoning. They verified family members couldn’t host us and yet I risked losing my entire leg during this process of the back and forth in the cold, on a train, with a child and a service dog to be told no and be threatening by PATH. I want to tell my story!

Is it still the case that families can complete intake virtually? Or has PATH reverted back to mandatory in-person applications?

I have the same question. My wife and sister in law are going to path tomorrow for the first time, we were lucky to get a place tonight but it’s over in the morning. If anyone can tell me what to expect, honestly a bit terrified.
