Upcoming housing and land use-related events:
- Monday, June 8 at 1 p.m.: The NYC Council’s Committee on Small Business will meet regarding a bill that would create a fund to support small businesses impacted by city construction projects. More here.
- Monday, June 8, 5 to 8 p.m.: The city’s Rent Guidelines Board will hold a meeting in the Bronx to take comment from the public as it considers whether to raise the rent this year for tenants in stabilized apartments. More here.
- Tuesday, June 9 at 9 a.m.: The Landmarks Preservation Commission will meet. More here.
- Tuesday, June 9 at 9:30 a.m.: NYU’s Furman Center will host a panel discussion on how property taxes are impacting the city’s multi-family housing stock. More here.
- Tuesday, June 9, 6 to 8 p.m.: The city’s Department of Environmental Protection and the Gowanus Oversight Task Force will host a neighborhood town hall on flood preparedness. More here.
- Wednesday, June 10, 5 to 8 p.m.: Members of the public can testify to Mayor Zohran’s Mamdani’s Commission on Government Efficiency at a hearing in the Bronx. More here.
- Thursday, June 11, 2 to 5 p.m.: The Department of City Planning will host a public scoping meeting for a developer’s plan to construct six mixed-use buildings with nearly 800 apartments on East 98th Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. More here.
- Thursday, June 11, 5 to 8 p.m.: Members of the public can testify to Mayor Zohran’s Mamdani’s Commission on Government Efficiency at a hearing in the Brooklyn. More here.
- Monday, June 15, 1 to 3 p.m.: The City Planning Commission will hold a public review session. More here.

- The Barnett, Queens, for households earning between $22,492 – $168,320 (last day to apply is 6/8)
- The Doria, Queens, for households earning between $50,229 – $146,560 (last day to apply is 6/9)
- Two Waterline Square at 400 West 61st Street, Manhattan, for households earning between $38,983 – $109,920 (last day to apply is 6/9)
- 3846 Bailey Avenue Apartments, Bronx, for households earning between $75,703 – $146,560 (last day to apply is 6/10)
