There are 244 parcels (over 9M square feet) of City owned vacant land in Mr. Salamanca’s Council District 17. Info pulled from various NYC public databases, in pdf:

The Sheridan isn’t being converted into a “pedestrian friendly boulevard” the state refuses to reduce the width of the lanes, so they are putting crosswalks on 11 lanes of traffic…and encouraging trucks to drive on the new “boulevard” by creating a highway expansion by extending the Sheridan with ramps that end on Edgewater, right next to the parks, school and residents that suffer from asthma and other environmental burdens. This plan ignores over 20 years of community planning and engagement with the local community. Good job Cuomo.

Blah blah blah. In the end salmanca will do what the mayor says after extracting money and units for his bronx politico cronies, like acacia and l and m, etc
