It benefit all of us to break the cycle one homeless at a time. What Breaking The Cycle Drop Corp offer is wrap around service all on site. No sorry that not the case I was exactly homeless 17 year ago with my child and I no what it took too build a foundation for me so I have a passion for helping the unshelter homeless cause I was once one. So im gonna disregard your negativo remark and maybe you should check out my website. http://Www.breakingthecycledropcorp.com. or even better join the national coalition of the homeless. I happen to be the Co Chair of the policy committee. So you can actually see the work we do.. Far as elected officials every one should do there jobs. Homeless mental health drug addiction prison system all going unchecked. Have a blessed day

Hi i also went through the homeless system and persevered however i do have a differe t perspective many in the shelters use it as a revolving door. I have met individuals who simply refuse to pay rent they stay til they are put out and fo to. Shelter…but they flyyyyyyy..
So i see both sides of the issue.

People with lived experience should be brought to the table i feel they know exactly how to help, one can not know what is needed and how to help if you never been in there shoes. http://Www.breakingthecycledropcorp.com we have the solution.

Seem like the homeless crisis was exacerbated with the demise of SROs during the “go go” 80s. A big part of the blame doesn’t really rest on greedy developers, but the city’s tax rules, regs, and zoning which made it attractive for developers to buy out SROs and convert them into fancy condos, or tear them down and replace them with commercial towers.

So rather than maintaining the status quo in keeping these hotels as homeless shelters, those regs on the books should be removed and encourage existing hotels to morph themselves as for-profit SROs, residences that even homeless with jobs can afford. It also lends them a sense of self dignity as they can actually call it a home and not a shelter.

Deblsio got me a roof over my head, but the Salim House in Coney island Ave is kidnapping the homeless to line their pockets.
