Just what we don’t need. A bank run by the same people who gave us NYCHA. LOL!

I’ve lived in three European countries with Public Banks that are run out of local Post Offices.
The service was excellent, interest rates for loans low, savings insured. and overhead not wasted on enormous salaries of CEO’ and Financial Officers whose job it was keep their bloated salaries and to to make profit for their shareholders rather than to return profit to the city and its citizens.
    Public Banks make sense.
New York City and state should make sure we its citizens get the same benefits as do citizens of Holland or France, or Scandinavia. instead of being exploited like citizens of a 3rd world country. .
