Pay your damn rent…your friggin deadbeat. No landlord is going to throw out a “decent” tenant during a pandemic without good reason such as they were a lousy deadbeat tenant before the pandemic. I’m so sick and tried of you greedy, self centered, lazy, think your entitled to everything because mommy and daddy told you that you were special, lowlife scum trying to put off your responsibility onto everyone else. You signed a lease, which is a contract. No one made you sign it…you were more than happy to sign it when you decided you wanted that apartment/condo/house. Your landlord lived up to his/her responsible of providing roof over your head, heat and hot water…now live up to yours…if you don’t have the decency to move out instead of holding the apartment hostage. Give you this free….give you that free..what are you giving anyone, especially your landlord but GRIEF. Your landlord worled hard what what he/she has….it took sacrifice, time and effort….NOT A HANDOUT. You didnt save…you didnt think ahead….your fault…your stupidity…stop trying to make it other people’s problem. Everyone has their own problems, so deal with it that’s part of being an adult. Stop trying to spend your time trying to get everyone else in the world to wipe your ass…do it your damn self, after all your “special”…a special type of deadbeat scum.

To our elected officials if you aren’t standing up for your constituents, we will remember that at the voting box.

You told us you were for the people of the communities you serve and yet you have not fought hard enough to protect your constituents. Demand justice for your constituents END THE EVICTIONS AND GET TENANTS THE JUSTICE THEY DESERVE WHICH IS RENT RELIEF AND EVICTION FREE NYC.

The law is the law and the rent must be paid. There is no legal way out of having to pay your rent.

This is just an awful situation. Landlords have received no relief from NYC property taxes or NYC water bills. Things like insurance and maintenance bills still have to be paid. Ultimately the back rent due landlords will still have to be paid by the tenants. Evictions can’t be postponed forever because even Cuomo knows that a contract is a contract, and the courts will eventually rule in favor of property owners.
