  • Thursday, May 25 at 1:30 p.m.: The NYC Council is expected to vote on a series of bills to expand eligibility and strengthen the CityFHEPS rental assistance voucher program. More here.
  • Thursday, May 25 at 4 p.m.: NYU’s Furman Center will present a panel discussion in-person and virtually, “By the Numbers: New York City’s Low-Density Neighborhoods,” moderated by WNYC reporter and City Limits’ alum David brand. More here.
  • Tuesday, May 30 at 6:30 p.m.: The Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan (AAMUP) Working Group will meet to discuss the proposed Atlantic Avenue rezoning related to land use, housing and density. More here.
  • Wednesday, May 31 at 9:30 a.m.: The Right to Council Coalition will rally outside Brooklyn and Bronx housing courts to call for funding for the city’s landmark “Universal Access” law to provide legal representation to low-income tenants facing eviction. More here.
  • Wednesday, May 31 at 10 a.m.: The Dept. of Housing, Preservation and Development will have its outreach van at 1545 Westchester Ave. in the Bronx until 4 p.m., offering assistance on applying for affordable housing, how to file a housing complaint and more. More here.
