  • Thursday, Aug. 11 at 9 a.m.: Lead Dust Free is hosting a press conference on the steps outside of City Hall, sharing information on the dangers of lead and advocating for legislation to be passed. For more information or to join, contact
  • Thursday, Aug 11 at 11 a.m.: The Fair Chance for Housing campaign is holding a rally on the steps of City Hall to push for legislation that would prohibit housing providers from turning away potential tenants for having conviction records. [More Here] 
  • Thursday, Aug. 11 at 4 to 5 p.m.: Vocal NY’s Homeless Union Assembly will share information on how to build statewide collective power, demand change, and fight homelessness. [More Here] 
  • Thursday, Aug. 11 at 7 to 8:30 p.m.: This virtual event entitled  “Climate Justice & Housing Justice: Green Social Housing for All” will offer training and political education about housing affordability, evictions and more. [More  Here]
