Does this mean that I have a choice to take that section 8 or 18 as u put it and move to a development that’s accepting this program. NYCHA is going private and eventually everyone will have a private sector to report too correct or not

Everyone who is currently living in a New York City Housing Authority Project will be eligible for the Section 8 subsidies to remain in their current apartment.
THE ADA also protects residents who have disabilities from being unlawfully evicted.
Accommodations for people with disabilities will be made.

I live in Smith Houses and I don’t believe in the RAD program. I feel that the RAD program is a way to put the tenants of NYCHA out of our apartments or raise our rent. The hosts who are speaking at this Urban and Policy Planning meeting seem to be selling the tenants the Brooklyn Bridge. I don’t feel they are genuine and they are promising tenants shiny new objects as a way for tenants to give up the existing laws and rights. I am not voting for RAD or section 18. I am not falling for the banana in the tailpipe. I say not to RAD and Sections 8, 9, and 18.
