This test has continued to be a plaque. There are students that have become so discouraged, since the test is basically third year undergrad material, that they are just dropping out, and not pursuing any other form of higher education. The corporations behind this, led by the Bill Gates Foundation, are profiting immensely from this. Retest, after retest, they’re making money hand over fist. The scoring system is totally flawed as well. If you do not use an operative word within ANY of the essays, you fail that portion of the test. With a human element scoring such an essay, one would believe that the idea from the student was there, or not there and scored appropriately. Instead, a smiling Bill Gates is selling a lot more PC’s and software, while those with either disabilities, or those that had to drop out of high school due to family happenings, i.e. death of a parent, needing to support a disabled parent or siblings, etc. This is a travesty and needs to be reformed….before more damage is done!!!!!

I have adult ADHD and has had learning disabilities most of my childhood. And,now that I’m much older I thought now would be the time I was so excited to get started in this preparation , but than I find out that this test is harder than the other GeD test . I don’t mind that I have to work hard for this but from what I’m hearing is it even possible someone like me can pass this ? I have never done math like this I don’t even know where to begin.so discouraged!
