West side Bronx public transportation is at a breaking point. The 1 train is overwhelmed. Buses are inadequate and all too often stuck in traffic. Express uses schedules are being cut. Why isn’t there Hudson River ferry service?

They should rezone classon point and allow for higher density development, maybe like 3 or 4 family units, ferry service at classon point is usually less than half full,

Agreed. It would make sense to convert the R3A in the area to R3-2 or R4 minimum.

The Ferry point park stop is going to be great. I work on the other side of The Bruckner by Zerega. This will help my commute because I live right on the 34th st ferry stop. The only thing we need once the ferry is at Ferry Point is a Bronx Shuttle bus that can stop at the shopping center and a across the bridge on Zerega to reach the Industrial Zone.

You should buy a folding bike or escooter. With one you could get off at either stop. Short ride.
