very valiant of you to fight on behalf of NYCHA residents and future residents of gowanus green, with surely no other priorities or personal benefit beyond helping low income tenants

All of the claims here are lies. The rezoning area is wealthy and white per census data. The opposition is overwhelmingly wealthy and white NIMBYs, who are solely opposing rezoning because they don’t want to integrate the neighborhood.

My family and I want to thank you for highlighting these issues.

We have lived here for a long time and glad that EPA is finally cleaning up the canal and hopefully going to force the city to stop dumping raw sewage into the canal. Especially since other cities have found the Covid virus in their waste water.

We live here and it’s a nasty way to treat the residents of this area.

I live in gowanus houses and we could use all the help we can get! Especially since our mayor said he would fund our community center and other much needed repairs over 10 years ago and nothing has been done. Absolutely nothing…
Stop using us as pawns and do your job by fixing what we live in and supporting truly affordable housing. That means not people making over 70k a year but housing for folks like me earring 35k a year!
Stop playin games with our lives and do your job!
