Until the mental health needs of our participants are addressed, it is difficult—if not impossible—for them to secure and retain employment.’

In the past few years, hundreds of seniors have been referred to the SHPP program by Bronx Housing Court Judges – all with good results. But, unless new money is set aside, the program will close in July.
