The Trojan Horse we all knew would succeed as a Trojan Horse to give developers the keys to the kingdom to demolish our neighborhoods for the fantasy of building a pinch of affordable apartments. As for building affordable housing it’s a complete failure that’s led to displacement, increased homelessness and the loss of truly low income homes demolished to make way for developers! What’s saddest is how transparent it was. Every community board but one voted against it. And the Mayor bulldozed it into reality and called the community boards “the status quo”!

Surprised the study took no look at expanding and creating as of right provisions and residential equivalents for commercial zones. The push toward M1 is intelligent but we should be including C8 when’re talking about light industrial.
