Gustavo is correct to point out the massive waste that is MLTC. I have been working for a provider in the MLTC system for over 5 years and, to this day, I am unclear as to what role MLTC or CM even does.

There are a myriad of instances of waste, bloat, inefficiency, and even outright fraud stemming from MLTC.

But, furthermore, there are inherent flaws to the entire idea of MLTC.
-Who would trust an insurance company to determine their plan of care?
-How can a remote MLTC worker with no contact, no relationship with the client ever hope to understand health and wellness needs?
-MLTCs often are stakeholders in the providers they pay (and vice versa)

This is outright profiteering at the expense of the taxpayers, older Americans, and the disabled and homebound.

    Thank you, Senator.
