    Not mentioned, and I think it’s a major omission: Congestion Pricing.

    Congestion Pricing eases NYC gridlock (nice) and funds NYC public transit (essential). Indeed, Congestion Pricing is the only funding source for NYC public transit that adds up.

    Congestion Pricing is a NYC issue, but it must be passed by the state legislature and signed by the governor.

    This article starts with comments about Cynthia Nixon, noting she didn’t win last month’s gubernatorial primary. Because of NY’s Byzantine elections laws, Nixon WILL be on the November ballot in a contest with Deborah Glick to represent the 66th Assembly District. Glick doesn’t support congestion pricing, and she blamed the legislature’s inaction on de Blasio.

    Yep, pay close attention to Cuomo, but pay equally close attention supposedly progressive candidates for the state legislature.
