    You “neglected” to mention that board members (and their friends) threatened and physically attacked community members engaged in nonviolent civil disobedience. P.S. There are several board members who not only don’t live in East Harlem, do not even live in New York City. Why don’t you do some real investigation, for once.

    “Advisory” that is the key word. Why is the DeBlasio administration so inflexible in its vision?
    The Mayor’s vision is destructive to the very people who believed in him and voted him in.
    If his City Planning Commission goes ahead with its plan—it will only show how comfortable they are with disenfranchisement.
