As a local stakeholder I thought the city DID take the local rezoning plan into account and the city plan seemed to strike a balance. I did not like the local plan’s entire platform, and continue to wonder why the city would care what a select group submits, a left wing group who did not allow anonymous ideas to be submitted, which obviously does not account for all voices. Many like myself felt uncomfortable discussing their views on the local platform, with a city councilman like Reynoso who emasculates developers at public forums. And no one has mentioned this silent group’s input to the city. The city is aware of ALL input because they are open to receiving this input without judgement. Stop the whole rezoning or don’t. It’s a joke at this point.
