There was a bottleneck, so she called the Board of Elections for more tablets. And guess what? They arrived.
The line of voters snaked out the school entrance and down the alley. But, this morning at least, staff on hand said they had it under control.
Even after several hours working at the polling station, volunteer Peggy Clark still had not voted – and said was still undecided. To her, both major party candidates had their negatives.
A team of reporters spent a day on the buses of the Bronx to see to see an underappreciated part of the city’s strained transit system in action.
