    Thanks for this excerpt; I look forward to reading the sequels. When the book is published, I expect to buy and read it.

    The take-away, of course: appalling low voter participation.

    Consider that in districts where an incumbent had a challenger, the incumbent won overwhelmingly. Does voting matter? It depends, but like the punch line to the old Borscht Belt joke, it wouldn’t hurt.

    Also consider post-Brexit whinging for a do-over. (A Neverendum?) There won’t be a do-over in the US after the vote in November. Vote! It matters.
