Maybe communities of color commit more crimes… the assumption you are drawing from this statistics are very subjective. Then are they also overpolicing males more than females? I don’t think so, it just happens than males commit more crimes. Articles like this are pure garbage as they take scientific research and use it politically, completely disregarding science. I am sure this research did not make any assumptions.

Self confessed drug dealer complains about discrimination?! Sounds like the police have it right, fact of the matter is, communities of color do commit more crimes.

This article is far from trash. It’s literally presenting the truth. Maybe you need to do some scientific research and take some time observing how over-policed low income communities are and how shitty the education system is for low income children. For starters crime is automatically linked to being black in this society. And, black males are targeted at a higher rate than females. If you live in a white neighborhood, and you see a black male with a hoodie on he is more likely to be stopped and searched by the police. Seriously people do your research.

And, as for Bob. He was a youth who sold drugs. He is not the most powerful or dangerous drug dealer on the street. You have no idea what he’s been through or why he was selling drugs in the first place. Ok he was arrested and charged but he’s young. Scientific research says that a human’s brain stops developing at 25. Who’s to say he can’t change and make better choices.
