The Urban Homesteaders Assistance Board, a sponsor of City Limits magazine, opened two new borough offices last week to assist tenants and offer technical assistance to neighborhood residents. The Manhattan office is located at 149 E. 125th St., 2nd Floor, at Lexington Avenue. The Brooklyn office is at 81 Willoughby Street, 7th Floor, at the corner of Lawrence Street near Metrotech. Both UHAB offices will provide technical assistance classes for people participating in tenant-owned cooperatives, as well as a neighborhood resource center with a reference library and computers.
