The Colored Girls Hustle Marketplace is a curated pop-up shopping experience featuring women of color artists and makers. The marketplace is slated to run monthly throughout the summer and the second installment of the summer series will be Sunday July 15th 2018. A dozen women of color vendors will be selling handmade cards, crystals, candles, jewelry, clothing, accessories, head wraps, skin care products, hair care products, herb infused beverages, and more. This event is free and open to the public. Featured vendors selected to participate in the July 15th CGH Marketplace include:

Comics Writer Scott Snyder To Appear At Barnes & Nobles, Union Square To Discuss And Sign Copies Of DC’s DARK NIGHTS: METAL Collected Edition

Join award-winning DC comic book writer, Scott Snyder (BATMAN, DARK NIGHTS: METAL, JUSTICE LEAGUE) at Barnes & Noble, Union Square for a discussion and fan signing on Saturday, June 16th from 7-9 pm EST. Moderated by THE NEW YORK TIMES senior editor George Gustines, Snyder will use the first hour to chat about all things METAL as well as other upcoming stories. HOUSE OF BRICKS is a rip-roaring comedy show hosted by your three best friends Hannah Boone, Brandon Ream and Gideon Hambright. Celebrate Israel Parade

The 2018 Celebrate Israel Parade, one of the largest parades in New York City, is back for the 54th year on Sunday, June 3, from 11 AM to 4 PM, marching up Fifth Avenue from 57th to 74th Streets, Manhattan. Fifth Avenue will once again turn blue and white as more than 30 floats with musical performers, 15 world-class marching bands, and 40,000 marchers entertain hundreds of thousands of spectators for the largest celebration of Israel in the world. The parade will welcome Dina and Jonathan Leader as the parade’s special guests and Honorary Grand Marshals. This year’s theme is “70 and Sababa (Awesome)!” in honor of the 70th Anniversary of Israel’s independence. The Parade will take place rain or shine.

Colored Girls Hustle Marketplace

This event is free and open to the public.
