Eduardo Anievas Open Studio

Painter Eduardo Anievas will have a two-day open studio event on Saturday, November 18th from 12-8pm and Sunday, November 19th from 12-6pm, as part of the LIC Arts Open Festival’s Fall Open Studios. Anievas will display fifty paintings including a new series of NYC cityscapes and large portraits. Anievas Studio is located street level at 10-15 48th Avenue between Vernon Blvd and 11th Street. By subway it’s the first stop in Queens on the 7, E, M, and G trains. Eduardo hosts with a familiar Spanish style, offering sangria and tapas on the house and welcoming visitors to get to know him and each other.

Jackknife Comedy is a rad monthly stand up show the first Saturday of every month at The Creek and The Cave in Queens, hosted by two dummies from Iowa named Gideon Hambright and Patrick Hastie! Each show they pick a bunch of their favorite comedians to come do sets, be cool and have a blast!
