Fran Skennion Reilly is a native of the Bronx, where she spent her earliest years reading every book she could reach at the corner library and playing a mean game of hopscotch. She joined City Limits with deep experience building multi-platform media brands and running non-profits. Fran’s been an executive at Time Inc. and Scholastic, and was a key member of successful start-up teams including award-winning Parenting Magazine, VIBE Magazine, Martha Stewart Living Magazine and The New York Times UPFRONT magazine. She was also Consulting Publisher of MAKE: Magazine. Her favorite job remains her years at Mother Jones, and not only because they built a nursery so her baby son could be down the hall.
