Women’s City Club Presents Panel on The Future of Paid Leave in New York

March 14, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

| Free

New parents and caregivers often have to choose between their paycheck and caring for newborns or seriously ill family members. However, in 2016 New York State passed the strongest Paid Family Leave law in the country, which will allow millions of New Yorkers to take paid time off to bond with a new child or support family members with serious care needs.

Join WCC and the panelists Rachael Ellison, M.A., Senior Partner, Center for Parental Leave Leadership; Simon Isaacs, Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer, Fatherly.com; and Nancy Rankin, Vice President for Policy, Research and Advocacy, Community Service Society to find out more about this new benefit, which starts in 2018, and how it will affect your friends, family, and community.

To RSVP, visit http://www.wccny.org/calendar or call 212-353-8070. All events are open to the public and free to WCC members. If you are interested in becoming a member, visit http://www.wccny.org/join.
