From the Colonial Era to Prohibition to today’s craft beer renaissance, Brooklyn has played a
major role in brewing this most famous of beverages. Board our historic trolley and step back in time for an intoxicating exploration of the borough’s beer connections with Green-Wood historian Jeff Richman and beer historian Chris Heuberger. The tour will showcase many beer-related points of interest as well as the close affiliation between beer and baseball, immigration and industry. Green-Wood’s permanent residents, Joseph Fallart, Jacob Ruppert , Otto Huber, and Charles Feltman will be featured, among many others.
The trolley tour is $30; $25 for members of the Green-Wood Historic Fund and members of the Brooklyn Historical Society. Reservations are recommended.
