The Tourette Association of America invites runners, walkers, families and supporters to participate in the 2018 National Awareness 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, May 20 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. New this year, the 5K will be a certified run as well as a free Kids Fun Run for children aged 12 and under:

Kids Fun Run begins at 8:45am
Run/Walk begins at 9:00am
The 2018 National Awareness 5K Run/Walk will be emceed by actor, writer and teacher, Gardiner Comfort. This year’s Walk Ambassador is Tourette Association Youth Ambassador, Blaise Urato from Dix Hills, New York. The event will include entertainment and group activities for participants, and all participants will have free admission to the Hall of Science, Queens Zoo and carousel following the event.
The Tourette Association’s National Awareness 5K Run/Walk was organized to raise awareness and funds for the Tourette Association of America. When you register you are supporting the Tourette Association’s mission to make life better for all people affected by Tourette syndrome and Tic Disorders.
