Exit Room is proud to present disruptive innovation in art and music from Europe:
The “WEIRD WORLD” (http://the-weird.com/)
Group Art Show by 5 artists of The Weird Crew: CONE, DXTR, HRVB, LOOK and VIDAM – will transform the Exit Room gallery space into an universe for the strange and grotesque. European art collective The Weird crew are at their second collective Group art show in the US. This collective consists in ten artists spread all over Germany and Austria. The crew is well known for their warped and imaginative characters. The members come from a graffiti background and focus and collaborate on high quality and large scale murals in a unique recognizable style. Despite their different approaches and visual languages, The Weird manages to merge an immense diversity of styles into exclusive pieces of obscure pop surrealism. THE WEIRD creates otherworldly, mystic, yet funny symbolism that describes and deliberates modern day society and a world beyond.

“PERLA COZZONE’S PROJECT”, a Live Musical Performance
Perla will perform original compositions in which she beautifully blends contemporary sounds with glimpse of classical music colors of the twentieth century, drawing from her vast repertoires in both. A classical prodigy by the time she was 12-years old, Perla has the ability to fuse classical, jazz, r&b and hip-hop into her own definitive style. Because of her classical training, Perla is able to execute ideas fluently with precision and accuracy to express her artistic vision, musical ideas and tell stories through sound. While she is a classically trained jazz pianist, Perla is a product of her generation not overlooking the music that she grew up listening to, including hip-hop and R&B. The music landscape demands that artists be versatile and she is one of the most versatile musicians in the scene today because of her classical and jazz training and propensity for contemporary music. She is here directly from Italy for this concert to bring this classy and extraordinary technique into American popular music.
