Each year, more than 2,200 women from all across New York City will join The New York Women’s Foundation at its Celebrating Women Breakfast to recognize the accomplishments of women who have set out to change the world and support The Foundation’s mission to promote economic security, sexual health and safety for local women and their families.
This year, The Foundation invites you to celebrate the achievements of three singularly accomplished leaders: Tarana Burke, founder and leader of the #MeToo Movement; law professor Kimberlé Crenshaw, co-founder and Executive Director of the African American Policy Forum; and The New York Community Trust and their President Lorie A. Slutsky.
The popular fundraiser also honors current grantee partners for their work as grassroots leaders addressing the needs of New York City’s most underserved women and girls.
Registration begins at 6:30 AM. The program and awards presentations will begin promptly at 7:30 AM.
Tickets start at $250. Numerous sponsorships are available. Please email email@example.com for more information.
