The Cheetos brand is bringing the virtual Cheetos Museum that took the summer by storm to life with a two-day live Cheetos art installation, showcasing of some of the finest submissions from across the country. This summer, Americans shared more than 100,000 Cheetos shapes on CheetosMuseum.com, answering the age old question – what do you see in your Cheetos? The live Cheetos Museum exhibit is celebrating those entries, and officially unveiling the program’s grand prize winner.
The Cheetos Museum exhibit, in Vanderbilt Hall of Grand Central Terminal, will have over 40 individual Cheetos shapes on display, including the four finalists from the Cheetos Museum online submission contest. The grand prize winner, selected by America’s votes, will be unveiled at 10:30 am on September 21st and will be awarded an additional $50,000 for their magnificent addition to the Cheetos museum collection.
New Yorkers and tourists alike will be able to stroll through the one-of-a-kind exhibit and let their imaginations go wild, examining each shape and searching for their own artistic opinion of each. To commemorate the experience, guests are also invited to create a self-portrait of themselves with Chester Cheetah. As a thank you for touring the first-ever, live Cheetos Museum, visitors will receive their very own bag of Cheetos Crunchy snacks to continue appreciating all the art there is to be found in a bag of Cheetos, while supplies last.
